For tele-class you will receive 4 and half credit hours. (We are currently not approved in other states)
Description of Class:
Teleclass - "Being a Multiracial/Multicultural Family" (Tele-training)
This 4 ½ -hour tele-training program (spread over three sessions), provides an overview of diversity and insight into becoming a multiracial/multicultural family. The format of this class is designed for families living in communities where training like this may be unavailable or difficult to attend. It provides an at-home curriculum and bi-weekly (conference call) discussion groups and exercises along with an adult adoptee panel.
This is an ideal introductory seminar for prospective transracial adoptive parents, their families and support community to explore the opportunities and challenges of living as a multiracial/multicultural family.
